Match report Kieron's decision to insert the visitors was vindicated by the life that the opening bowlers found in the pitch, reducing New Milton to 44 for 3 in the 12th over. There followed a partnership of 77 between Adams and Collison. It was broken by Keiron who began a spell of 4 for 3 in 13 deliveries. Rob chipped in with two wickets in 4 balls before Chris returned to complete the rout. Seven wickets had fallen for 16 runs; a remarkable collapse.
Jack and Matt began with 46 from 9 overs, aided by a wild second over which yielded 4 from the bat plus 12 extras. Matt holed out 10 runs later. Matt B joined Krishan and their partnership of 77 took the home side to the brink of victory. Matt played some lovely shots before playing across the line with only two runs needed; a very satisfying win.
