Match report P and S won the toss on a good pitch. After a solid start Only Phil really got going to give the innings the acceleration that it needed to take us up past 200 but even 206 felt 20-30 short of competitive on such a lightening fast outfield. The innings will be best remembered for 14 year old Oliver Kanavans sparkling 60 in his first game opening the batting. Very well batted Oli!

We got an early breakthrough and we kept chipping away in the field but a couple of strong Ryde batsman just took the game away from us. We fought hard but ultimately despite good spells from Harlan and Ben and two maiden second team wickets for Dimash we couldn't restrict Ryde. A good effort from all who made the trip.
