Match report Our confidence is growing as displayed in this win. Being put in to bat Freddie and Will got us off to a good start with little concern. Once Freddie had again retired Arthur shows how much his confidence and skills have come on as it was a surprise when he popped up a catch just before what would have been a deserved retirement. Josh was unlucky to get a great ball early on in his stay and Will's compact innings was ended when he ended up short of a run. Charlie and Tristan ran well for a brief time before Charlie was a bit too keen but some great off side strokes from Tristan a few late wides and a final straight four from the returning Freddie took us to a defendable 108.
While their openers started well they never really got up with the rate as Freddie and Charlie bowled straight and quickly. Josh and Will carried on the good work and Tristan picked a deserved wicket in his tight 2 overs. He was in the action again when his cool head ensured a comprehensive run out to finish the last over. In between Freddie took one through a big swing from their no. 4. Well played all, more of the same please.
