Match report Amidst the drizzle,we managed the all-important win to take us to the top of the league.We batted first and had the top 4 retire .At 16 overs,we decided to shorten the match due to rain and with a quick turnaround,Purbrook went out to bat.In awful conditions,with us bowling spin they batted for 10 overs and then we all ran to the pavilion.A big thank you to Purbrook for continuing the game!So,presently we are top of the league with Portsmouth likely to share the title with us.It has been a brilliant season,where the boys have played out of their skins.They really played as a team and I,m very proud of them!
