Match report Winning the toss and batting 1st on a pitch with a combination of artficial wkt and small boundaries we were looking to set Steep a decent total to chase. Harry Gadd was off the mark straight away hitting several boundaries before he was caught going for another 6. Jonty and Charlie were initially a bit more measured but both started to find the boundary regularly and retired with a 6, each finishing on 40no. Jez and Will perished early trying to push along the scoring. Harry Giles hit a few more 4's before being run out. Ollie and Harlan pushed on hard in the last few overs, Ollie with regular 4's and Harlan with a couple of 6's. We finished on 184 for 4 with 7x6 and 23x4.
We were soon into the wickets with Harlan bowling one of the openers in his 1st over, and then Harry Gadd picked up the other opener early on with help from a Jonty Peach catch. A direct hit from Charlie ran out the No 3 and then Will (caught by Harry Gadd), Jonty (caught and bowled) and Harry Giles (caught behind by Ollie) were all in the wickets. Henry (another catch behind), Kyle (caught Will) and Jez (caught Kyle) closed the innings out with a wicket apiece.

A fine win, with contributions from all players.
