Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club Under 13A v Sarisbury on Sun 22 Jul 2007 at 10:00am
Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club Won P&S win by 63 runs.

Match report This game was able to go ahead as a result of the club's investment in the new astroturf pitch.

P&S elected to bat with Jack and Ryan building a solid start, both retiring in the eleventh over. The scoring rate remained steady through the middle order at just over six an over and we finished on 126 just short of the 130 needed for an additional batting point.

The bowling was opened strongly by Sam and Kieran who both looked dangerous. However, our slower bowlers proved most successful taking seven wickets between them. Tom Farnworth took two wickets with his first two balls and debutant Jack Till bowled tidily to end with 1-2.

Alastair Power secured three sharp stumpings to take his club tally to ten for the season.
