Match report Oh Dear - one of those days really. Early success for Henry wasn't followed up as their Hampshire man put us to the sword. After a couple of retirements we made some in roads but strong hitting later got them to a decent total of 134.
We needed an equally strong start but it appeared everything we tried went wrong. Will got a decent ball, Freddie was unlucky not to face a ball thanks to a poor call from the other end, Ollie clothed a long hop and Harlan gave more catching practice off a full toss. Daniel followed his pick of the bowling performances with the best innings of the day and went to an outstanding catch, as did Harry. Kyle, Josh and Henry toughed it out for a while but all ultimately perished being bowled. Ollie D's stay was short as he was undone by the spinner and careful catch while George was left standing after a really positive little innings. Oh well, there's always next time.
