Match report First match of the season and a warm welcome to the club to Oliver, Mohammed and Ben all playing their first match. Bowling first, Marcus, Robbie, Ben, Amir and Dan all came close to taking wickets. Mohammed, Alex, Kyle and Will took one wicket each. We gave away 44 runs in wides compared to 12 wides which Burridge gave away, so this is an area for us to work on in training. Thank you and well done to Oliver as wicket keeper who made some very good stops.
Our batting was made difficult by Burridge's accurate bowling and their fielding was also tight and made it difficult for us to score runs.
Overall, a good effort from all the boys and it was great to get the season started. Well done boys.
Finally, a big thank you to Phil, Simon and Paul in scoring, helping with pitch, drinks and tea.
