Match report The Navy, using this game as a final trial for their triangular tournament at Lord's next week, lost the toss. For the second time this month, P & S took a wicket with the first ball of the match. This time it was Keiron, dismissing the brother of Worcestershire's Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Keiron and Chris, the two slow left-armers were the visitors' most effective bowlers with 8-1-28-3 between them on a slow surface with a lush outfield restricting the number of boundaries.
The P & S reply began promisingly with 27-0 on the board in 5 overs. Jack's sweet six was the from the first ball he faced. The introduction of Kohler-Cadmore brought 11 runs and the first wicket in his initial over, but thereafter a stranglehold by the home bowlers proved too hard to escape, especially when Pollard, bowling at a sharp pace, came on for the last 4 overs from the Officers' Club End. The score in boundaries was 30 - 14 in favour of the Navy.
