Match report Back to winning ways. Being asked to field first for the 1st time this year Harlan got things under way with a tight opening over. We lost our radar for a spell thereafter until Henry stepped up and got us back on track. However, we didn't get a wicket until debutant Kyle slipped one through their openers defences (his second over was the tightest of the night too). Dan C was soon in the act with the help of Ollie's gloves and Harlan's hands before Daniel T pinged a tidy throw over the stumps to effect a run out off the last ball of the innings. Note though 49 wides and 6 no balls. We could (and will have to) do a lot better next time folks!
With the bat we were rarely in trouble. Dan C and Harlan both retired again mixing running and more aggressive hitting this time, leaving Ollie to clip a couple of fours and Dan T, in an ever more composed innings, to rush us home in quick time. Well played all.
