Match report A superb effort by all the boys with everyone showing improvement in at least one area.
Henry batted very well scoring 26 his highest score, batting sensibly, calling and running well. He forged good partnerships with Will and then Ollie Newport who hit his first 4 and then his highest score - well done.
We finished on 111 and then commenced an excellent all round fielding display. Amir was brilliant at third man producing his best fielding performance and then backed it up with two wickets, one of which was from a fantastic catch from Kyle who bravely threw himself and held on to a rocket shot from their batsman - brilliant!This fielding was backed up by Marcus, Theo, Tristan, Dan and George who stopped lots of boundaries as did the other boys.
Again all boys bowled some good balls and Tristan, Alex and Ollie took one wicket each alongside Amir's two. Will performed admirably behind the stumps conceding just two byes on a wicket which was very unpredictable.
Despite our efforts Fareham just managed to get our target with 3 overs to go. Well done boys on a great effort and it is so pleasing to see all of you improve your performances and continue your development.
