Match report I'm afraid I missed this one but Tony R kindly came up with the following report of a very difficult day.

Without the missing Harrys G, W, H and John B, P and S were always going to be up against it against Hambledon. P and S won the toss and bowled. Once again we were in the wickets early with Harry L and Harlan, and after 5 overs H'don were 12 for 2, but the next pair got the innings back on track. However the spin of Dan C and Will and then Moni along with some decent fielding keep the score under check. Dan picked up a wicket and Moni two. Harlan took another wicket as H'don tried to push on and the innings was closed.

Without some of the usual batting we needed a solid start, but were 7 for 3 before we knew it. Ollie was unluckily run out without facing, Dan was caught and then Harry L was given LBW. Moni and Harlan tried to rebuild, Moni hit a straight 4, but was caught trying to hit out again. Henry was caught. Will P and Dan T were bowled by the impressive Louis M in successive balls, Kyle avoided the hat trick but went next ball. With the innings nearly over Harlan hit Louis back over his head for a big 4, but then recieved a bouncer in return, and was then bowled next ball. The innings was closed.

It was a tough lesson for some of the less experienced players today, but it shows the level that they need to aspire to.
