P&S won the toss and elected to bat. A superb ton from Matty B was the highlight, although Pates and Rob Evs also took a liking to the road like deck....The target of 277 set of Basingstoke looked like it might be enough, but Basingstoke were always ahead of their required run rate and passed our total with four overs and four wickets in hand.

Our bowling and fielding were below our normal standards and will need to improve, but there won't be many strips like this one at Mays Bounty this season.
