Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club Lost 27 Runs

Match report A warm welcome to Harry Wratten and Connor Wilde in their first game for the club. While we didn't win it was a good game that saw us take on a Hambledon side with 5 District players and us with 5 lads who were playing their first hard ball game - let alone hard ball on a grass wicket! Batting stars where Harry and Moni getting well into double figures with both but particularly Harry hitting some glorious cover and straight drives. Kyle too played a good hand looking for gaps and keeping a straight bat.
With the ball Harry was quick and straight and along with Jamie, Fin, Kyle and Suni picked up a wicket - three of them with the help of Ollie's glovework.
In the end P&S were well beaten but again it was a well contested game and we're learning plenty as we go.
