Match report A great day and a great effort by pagham to get the game on lead to a good game of cricket first game up. Batting first we managed to get to 166, largly thanks to joe collings wells who looked class for his 73 and should've really gone on. Matt benfield also looked really good for 23 and also should've gone on. Contributions down the order from matt smith and tom benfield were also helpful. Bowling was made difficult losing one of our 4 bowlers 2 over in, resulting in 39 overs with 10 fielders. Matty B bowled a great spell as well as harsh and their figures really dont do their spells any justice as their consistantly missed the outside edge of the batsmen. Using the bowling restrictions to his advantage, jonno bowled easily his best spell for the club, bowling at a good pace swinging and confusing the batsmen on numerous occasions and fully deserved his first fivefer for the club. A fantastic effort from everyone who played and had we had 11 men we surely would've ran out winners against a tidy side. Good start to the year and onwards and upwards!
