Match report Justice Day!!
Batting first on a seaming wicket The familiar partnership of Big Al and Roli put on in excess of 200 runs (If scorer indicated where wicket was lost i could give exact figure!) At last Big Al scored his maiden century with 139 not out for P&S. Fantastic knock with Roli supporting superbly with 67. (Well done Roli in a week where he made his debut for Hants Over 50's to become the first P&S player to appear at this level. And he took wickets!!)
Having set a daunting 234 Community although in contention for a while were dismissed for 167. The innings turned on a brilliant cameo from Roli taking 3 for 3 off 2 overs. This was well supported by Kai, who after a shaky start turned in a lovely spell of 3 for 17. Keep it up mate! The pocket Battleship of Ben Saunders bowled a fine spell and was justly rewarded with a wicket and young Nick Sillence finished the innings off.
All in all a good day at the office!
