Match report Great start to the season. Batting first the usual solid, reliable start from "The Big Boys" of 136 Big Al 39 and Roli 87. Well supported by James Golden Arm Cleary with a clubbing 30 Timid Jamie Cowdery 18 on his return after two years absence.(glad my hearing is so sharp) and Rich Collier 14. Teriffic 248 was posted to defend.
Fine bowling performance with Ant "Rocky" Cameron bravely returning from A&E to carry on where he left off last year to open up with Timid Cowdery taking an early wicket each. Well supported by Golden Arm Cleary with 3 wickets Roli with 2 wickets and Kai with 1. Big Al didn't even need to turn his arm over.
Great all round performances on the day with all contributing, particularly ever reliable Roli with 87, 2 wickets and a catch and James with 30, 3 wickets and a catch. Here's to a more rewarding season with no rule problems!
