Match report Good toss to win on a damp wicket, our seamers had a good day with Ups leading the way with 4 wickets, Alex 2, Cullum 2 and Tills 1. The bowlers were well supported by some top slip catches by Tills and Cullum. Portchester struggled to 121 all out thanks to some late lusty blows. We needed a good start and Joe and Ups got us off to a flyer, after Ups went JD kept Joe company allowing Joe to hit 11 4s and 1 6 as he saw us home with 17 overs to spare. Special mentions must go to, the Benny's who came back mid holiday for the game, Julie J for her excellent scoring, the ground staff for getting the game on, Linda D for the awesome tea's, Chis for his patience at the after match party and last but not least Ron 'sober as a judge' F for the evening entertainment until being sent home to bed at 9pm by his son a bit the worse for wear!
