Match report The toss was always going to be important which Purbrook won and stuck us in on a damp track. After 17 overs we were 20-4 and looking like being rolled over for a very low score, but Ryan Way and Matt Benfield dug in as the pitch dried out and with Ash Fooks and Rob Evans striking some lusty blows we reached a very credible 161 with Ash top scoring on his first team debut. We needed a good start but for the first time this year we bowled poorly and after a short rain delay Purbrook eased home by 7 wkts. On the plus side the tea's were fantastic and this was the youngest P&S side to play as a 1st team with 8 teenagers and 'Grandad' Ups by far the oldest at twentysomething.
