Match report In perfect conditions P&S won the toss for the first time this season and chose to bat on a good wicket. Openers Sam Collings- Wells and Seth Jackson again got off to a good start with 25 off the first 2 overs and managed an opening partnership of 66 before Jackson(27) was too far out off his crease when he realised the wicket keeper had the ball. Tom Benfield then continued the attacking stance with Collings-Wells both retiring on 51. Benfield’s innings included three 6s all hitting T&E’s impressive new pavilion and requiring 2 replacement balls. Leo Patterson maintained the onslaught before being run out on 15. P&S posted 187-3. Best T&E bowler was L Mooney (2-0-6-0).

A change of bowling attack was required due to Sam Corbett’s absence and Patterson and Jackson held T&E to 37-1 off 6 overs. The first change partnership of Sayeed Shahid and U13 Charlie Corbett bettered this with T&E at 69-5 after 12 overs. The opposition held on until being bowled out in the last over for 120. Pick of the bowlers was Corbett (3-0-9-3) and best batsman was C Holloway (32).
