Match report What an anti-climax after making such an effort to get what was the last Colts game together for most of the team.
Started reasonably well in restricting Grayshott to 112 with reasonably tight bowling. Particularly Jack 3 for 11, well supported by Kai 1 for 8,Ryan 1 for 9, Tom 1 for 11 and Ben 1 for 15. What a shame that good bowling had to be let down by sloppy fielding and the old demon of extras, when such improvement has been made this season. Chasing the total seemed within our reach but only one batsman reaching double figures, Prash with 17, tells it's own story. To be fair the conditions were pretty poor and the game should probably have been concluded with a ball with a bell in it. This was the first time we have been bowled out this season. Well that's the end of an era. Thanks to you all lads, the vast majority of you have been a pleasure to work with and it's been fascinating to see you all grow from little boys to young man.
