Match report Another nail biter but this time the pendulum swung to the opponents losing with 3 balls to spare.
Fairly bright opening was lit up by a lovely little knock of 22 from Ben, if only the bigger older players could play as straight as him was followed by a period of too slow a run rate that was thankfully picked up by a superb not out 34 from Pat which allowed us to post a defendable score of 111.
Although the bowlers did pretty well in keeping the score under control, silly lapses in the field cost us dear. Heroes from the previous night turned to villains. Well bowled Joe in taking 2 for 16. Anti climax was that the winning run was a wide. One more to go lads.
