Match report At last a WIN!!! and against the old enemy.
Excellent all round performance and all due to excellent fielding with 8 catches being taken 2 by an inspired Joe Sillence. Fine piece of captaincy from Jack Till in not bringing late arrival Ryan Revill onto the pitch until he had warmed up properly then handing him the ball which Ryan repaid by taking 3 wickets in his first over. (Hope JT does the Lottery) resulting in figures of 3 for 11.
Fine support given from Ben Tucker 3 for 4 off 2 overs, including 2 caught and bowled, and also Prash Ramaraj, Kai Pidgeon and Ollie Perrin. Hambledon were bowled out for 48 off 12 overs with extras scoring 23 (To be fair wides were given as 2 to speed the game up)
In reply P&S knocked off the runs in 7.2 overs with Jack Till top scoring with 18 (Out to his nemesis again, a female needs to watch the ball)ably supported by Prash bowled by a ball that bounced twice and rolled along the ground for 14. Lets use this as a platform to get some more wins under our belts lads.
