Match report While we ended up on the losing side again it was a much better performance - with the bat at least.
Skipper Henry was asked to field and unfortunately we didn't quite get our radar working! 24 wides - the equivalent of 55 runs were given to the opposition - oops. Added to that we only took 1 wicket through a good peice of fielding. Suni, Kyle and Will kept their lines the best, well bowled. Never the less our fielding was generally very good. Kyle's chasing stop being the pick of a good performance. Our working on backing up seemed to pay dividends too.
Chasing 292 was always going to be tricky and so it proved. Some good straight bowling, good catching and some "interesting" running from us, saw us lose 8 wickets. The final pair of Will and Ollie perhaps played the hand of the day, hitting off both the back and front foot and running as well as I've seen at this level. Will picked up man of the match for his top scoring 13 and only one wide while bowling. Congratulations to Jamie who performed very well in his first match.
