Match report The U15a team were depleted to just 3 regular members but the U15b team came to the rescue with two U13s. Having lost the toss and being put into the field the emphasis had to be on tight fielding and bowling. Without exception every lad rose to the challenge in the field and 6 of the 9 bowlers took wickets. Hambledon were kept to 96-8.

96 seemed reasonably achievable, but the loss of Seth Jackson first ball and Sayeed Shahid in the third over left P&S 11-2. However, Tom Benfield(43) led a recovery with Kai Pidgeon(17) in a partnership of 61. Wickets continued to fall until Harrison Whitworth and Sam Brookes were left needing 17 off 15 balls. Through quick running and backing up they achieved the target with 2 balls to spare.

A cracking game to win the league and many thanks to the U15b team for helping out.
