Match report A fine game played between two competitive sides. Batting first a good opening partnership saw Sayeed score an excellent 43 with Allen making his usual outstanding contribution with 49 on his return with brisk innings from Ali 14 Sean 12 n.o. and Keith 11 posting a total of 146. Although it was felt to be below par to defend the team pulled themselves together to make a game of it none more so than Keith with a superb 5 for 34 well supported by Al 1 for 22, Jack 2 for 29 and Ant 1 for 34. Triangle may have thought they had an easy task but the 10men really put the frighteners on them in pushing them to a 1 wicket victory. Oh for the extra man.
Special mention to Sam for a fine performance taking 3 catches behind the stumps under difficult conditions. Nice to see the improvements in the youngsters begining to happen.
