Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club

The club's quiz team comprising Dave Peachey, the Smith brothers and John Townsend made a poor start to the Hampshire League Sports Quiz at Compton & Chandler's Ford. After the first round, they were in last place, 12 points behind the eventual winners, Whiteparish who were in cracking form. Things improved for P & S thereafter, but a victory was never on the cards.
