P and S Under 16's moved back to the table with a resounding victory by 128 Runs. We batted first and racked up 190-4 with the openers Ben Purssell (49*) and Rob Jacobs (44*) leading the way, the rest did what a good team does in that situation hit every ball and ran regardless of whether they got in or not with Sam, Alex and George all getting to double figures very quickly. In reply Community set their stall out to bat time so we had to be inventive to try and winkle out wickets, to that end George Chapman's 3 overs of off-spin are to be commended along with Ben's first stumping and two wickets for the leg spin of Rob Jacobs. The wicket in the final over by Alex Fletcher could be vital as it takes us clear by one point from Havant with it going down to the wire in the last game on March 18th
A Special mention for the skipper Matt Westwood who bowled a superb over but took himself off as we needed to buy wickets and not just contain them - A selfless act that we hope can lead us to the title
