Jake and Graham Peach and Alex Fletcher have been selected for an Invitational XI to take on the mighty Australian Indigenous XI at Broadhalfpenny Down this Sunday, 2pm.

The Aussies have brought a large squad of young State and Grade cricketers as a bit of a sideshow tour to the main Ashes.
It's an historic match because the Aussies are retracing their forefathers of 1868 who first toured, illegally - since they were either escaping slaves or non-entitled citizens who had to stow away on cargo vessels to get here! - and played privately against teams in Kent, Sussex and Hampshire (well away from the London authorities who would have had them arrested and deported straight back to Oz!) Apparently they got a game against the Bat & Ball Inn then and they wanted one again. Apparently, it's going to be part of a documentary film about the 1868 tourists etc, so the cameras will be there too.
