πŸ’” 3rd XI – Fell Just Short Against Hayling Island

Loss by 32 Runs vs Hayling Island CC 2nd XI
Chasing: 185, all out for 153

Despite a tidy bowling effort with Ryan Clarke, Harrison Milne, and Louie De Bohan picking up 2 wickets each, the chase fell short. Samuel Wheeler’s fighting 36 and De Bohan’s unbeaten 22 showed spirit, but wickets fell at regular intervals.

Still, lots of positives for the 3s to take forward as they look to bounce back next week.

πŸ˜“ 4th XI – Tough Day at the Office

Loss by 190 Runs vs Fareham & Crofton CC 4th XI
Conceded: 306/7 in 40 overs
Reply: 116 all out (32.3 overs)

Despite a spirited half-century from Indie Rees (55*) and a strong bowling effort from Leo Jenvey with 3-49, both making their debuts in his men’s league cricket, the Dad's Army were outclassed by a better Fareham outfit. The team will regroup and aim for improvement next weekend.
