Looking back to Saturday
1st team should have got more runs but made Andover work for it with Pup bowling a great spell, 2's just keep on, rolling on with a realtively comfortable victory against much fancied Ryde with Dan Cleary proving a real hit again and Dean Wilson grabbing 4, Academy team pulled off a great win in a short game against The Duck with Jamie Cowdery bowling superbly, and Ben ' What time does the game start' Purssell offering useful support they were out for 79, but in reply we slumped to 29-5 before Rob 'Crisis, what Crisis;' Evans was joined by and I quote the opposition here 'This is the key one and its a nice big target to aim at' the skipper in a crucial 50 run partnership to see us home, 4's went down in a run feast at Rowner with 4 academy lads making runs with JAck 'all rounder ?' Davies the pick of them. This week has seen Under 13A's clinch their league, Under 9's give themselves a great chance of clinching theirs, and a virtual title decide this Thursday for Under 15's. Saturday sees 1's at Alton with a strong side with all the big guns playing, 2's play what could be a feisty one against Compton without their talismatic skipper, Academy take on Bidbury with a guest appearance from the senior Evans, and 4's have a promotion decider against Haylig 2's which sees the return of Paul O'LEary to P and S colours after a 2 year sabbatical - 4 out of 4 and we can start getting that Champagne on Ice!
