1. Can I play for the club?

Yes, we're always on the lookout for new players. We are a friendly, sociable and inclusive cricket club for all ages based within St James' Hospital in Portsmouth. All new players welcome regardless of gender, age and experience!
 

2. How many sides do you run? 

We currently run 4 Saturday sides, 2 Midweek teams, a Women's W10 softball team and junior teams for kids of all ages ranging from Under 9's to Under 15's. So there is plenty of opportunity to play for Portsmouth & Southsea Cricket Club

 
3. Can I join the club?

Yes, the Club is always looking for new members and for new members the first session is free. After this players must be a member of the Club to train. Membership forms are available from inside the clubhouse or can be downloaded from the relevant Membership pages below.

4. When are training sessions held?

During the summer, training sessions are held weekly at St James' Hospital.

Colts & Women’s W10 Softball training is held on a Monday & Adults training is held on a Thursday night.

We also hold weekly training sessions throughout the winter at Crookhorn College, Waterlooville on a Wednesday night.

5. I have a child who is interested in trying cricket? What should I do?

If you have a child, whatever age, who may be interested in playing cricket, then junior practice is on a Monday afternoon at 5.30pm. 

Alternatively, we run All Stars and Dynamos cricket sessions throughout the summer for children aged 5 – 11.  Links for these can be found here.

6. I have left another team and I am interested in joining P&S C.C, who can I speak to?

You can contact either the club chairman Harry Yard or 1st Team Captain Ben Saunders on our Contact Us page.

Please can you provide your contact details, age, approximate ability levels etc and we will provide you with more information regarding training etc.
