Match report A winning start. We were a bit rusty with much swishing and hoping, rather than controlled, compact and well run accumulation - but posting a score of 152 can't be sniffed it (even if top scorer was extras). Felix retired with a rush as he found the back wall a few times, Robbie played with softer hands but was 1 of 4 run outs, including Henry O'H who would have retired had he completed his final run.
We were much better with the ball. Henry F and Sam were perhaps the pick and with Ollie's quick gloves (3 stumpings) and Felix's safe hands getting us 4 scalps. The other wickets we collected, to provide full points, both came from Robbie's fielding; the first a direct hit run out and the other a simple flick to Ollie to complete the work.
A good start but we can get better.
