Match report Great to get back out on the grass at St James'. With our opposition not able to field a team, Clanfield stepped in with the help of a few Portchester ladies so it was game on!
A nice fun friendly game saw us miss out on the win by just 6 runs but our game was played very much in the spirit of cricket!
Some players returning for the summer, saw Katie Allard being crowned our player of the match. A great performance from her with bat and ball, excellent fielding and an amazing catch taken right on the boundary off of the skippers bowling! Misha also returned to us- taking the highest run score of the match. Susie stepped into the wicket keepers shoes once again and what an excellent job she did, also bowling 2 overs and taking a wicket!
Everyone enjoyed themselves so that's a win! Well done all.
