Match report Our very inexperienced side took on an older and savvy Hambledon and while the result didn't go our way we put on a great show. Harrison and Jacob started strongly with Jacob cracking a four before being caught on the hook and Harrison falling just 2 shy of retiring after smoking a straight 6. Ollie carried on where he left off last time and again retired also mixing good running with back wall hitting. Henry followed the pattern with running and six hitting and Sam too batted nicely to see us close at 90.
In the field, confident running kept Hambledon ahead of the rate but not without scares. Ryan coolly pouched a catch off side and back wall from Sam's bowling and Ollie effect two run outs, one a really quick backhand flick. Despite our decent bowling we just couldn't wrestle the initiative for any length of time and hence lost with 2 and a bit overs to spare. Nevertheless, well done guys a good performance.
