Match report While we didn't bowl too badly we did let them get too many and despite Jamie's heroics pulled up well short.
A good opening partnership from them put us on the back foot with their openers running really well. Jamie got the ball rolling thanks to a really smart catch from Fletch and for a few overs we kept them in check with Jamie and George picking up our other two wickets. The closing overs though saw them run us ragged again and they closed on 125.
In reply we lost Big Mc early but Alex and Jake steadied us before Alex was frustrated into holing out. That brought JC to the crease and he began as he continued tapping singles or blatting the back wall. In the end he was the last man standing and fell, one short of what would have been a deserved half century, to a good catch, trying to hit the back wall again with us needing 18 off the last three balls.
