Match report A good all round performance this evening with the highlight coming from the returning Umar. Batting first Lenny and Tom started confidently but lost Tom to a sharp run that turned out to be just too tight. Ben and Lenny both picked off singles before Lenny found the back wall and Ben got running. Two decent balls saw each depart, Lenny bowled and Ben leg before. In his first P&S run out since breaking his collar bone at the end of last years adults season, Umar looked very assured and crashed 4 fours and 2 sixes in his unbeaten 42 with Dinel and Jacob playing around him to get us to a competitive 131.
While we were rather generous with our extras (over half their total) we bowled plenty of dots too. Ben and Jacob picked our two wickets and Lenny rounded things off to see us run out 24 run winners. Well done to all.
