Match report While on paper it was a thumping that doesn't tell the whole story. We bowled tidily with with Jamie and particularly Lex mixing it well with the Big Boys. Rowan bowled with pace while Ben and Adam were in the wickets. Their 153 was due mostly to their middle order who on another night, with our luck a bit better, might have perished earlier.
The run chase started briskly with Rowan taking 10 off two balls before departing. Thereafter it was Ben and Adam who took us on before both retired. Their return saw us needing 50 off three overs but both went down all guns blazing - Ben being particularly unlucky seeing a would be six flick a light-fitting on the way through to be caugt off the back wall.
A good performance but we were well beaten by a good side.
