Match report Won Easily.

The visitors arrived with nine men but of that nine many were familiar faces with both Turners in the line up. Having managed to grab a high catch to dismiss Rosier from the second ball of Harlans first over, we were off to a flier and already performing better than the previous week!

The next three overs were absolute chaos. Compton seemed to throw all caution to the wind. Harlans next over saw a 4 a 6 a lost ball and then the huge wicket of James Turner (Tip Top) clean bowled as well as another wicket in between to leave Compton in a mess at 17-3.

Greg Turner was looking imperious, batting very smartly but the same couldn't be said for his partners. Patey grabbed a couple of well deserved wickets but When Harlan completed his five wicket haul with the big wicket of Greg for 28, the writing was on the wall and Compton were 46 all out. Harlan taking 6-15. A remarkable feat where his bravery in continuing to pitch the ball up was well rewarded in the face of aggressive batsman.

The runs were knocked off with comparative ease although Krish and Sam will be frustrated not by then. It was left to Oliver Kanavan and Rich Collier to see us home at 50-2. Ollies last game saw him finish with another not out to conclude what has been an outstanding run of not outs finishing games and solid scores. Well done this year!
