Match report This was a cracking game of cricket played in glorious weather. Having inserted Fareham, P & S were on top with the visitors on 54 for 3 off 12 overs, but 71 were gleaned from the last 8 overs. Jacko was the pick of the bowlers again.
Fareham's tidy bowling and accurate field placings made the home side work much harder than of late. In the 14th over, Pat was run out and Charlie retired with the score on 72 for 2 and two batsmen in who hadn't faced a ball. Things looked bad until Ollie struck a quick 22. Ben Saunders was out with 8 needed from the last three balls. The ubiquitous Jacko (with excellent running support from Max) hit 2, 2 and 3 to secure an exciting tie.
