Match report No pretensions, no egos, just a bunch of blokes thrown together in the Good Companion car park at 12.30 on Saturday who through bloody mindedness and team work, none more epitomised than by Jack Till who, attending as a spectator, fielded with a fractured wrist in a splint to make up the eleven carved out our first win of the season. Fielding first, Gosport were restricted to 135 due to a fantastic performance from Keith Ward taking 4 for 2 from 3 supported by Roli 2 for 5. Good to see Ant getting his self-confidence back with 2 wickets and Ryan not being over-awed on his adult bowling debut.Well done to all the fielders chasing everything down on a large outfield.Batting started steadily with a fine knock of 24 from Andy. Congrats to Kai for a lively knock of 22 and a lovely cameo 28 from Roli. When things started to look shaky and thoughts of a one -handed number 11 came to mind, a resolute Keith held things together, well supported by a bludgeoning knock of 14 from James to see us home against a less than gracious opponent.
