Match report A dramatic victory as we won on the last ball of the game in cold and windy conditions.
Fielding first our bowlers stuck to their task and bowled well considering the conditions and astro pitch that offered nothing to Charlie or Adam, and we bowled only 3 wides. But with the short bounderies and the Caldera bros and D Heyes all retiring we did well to restrict them to 103-5. Ezra's bouncer that followed the batsman was a sight to see.
In reply Jonty carried on his form retiring and with the help of extras we were always in with a shout and with Will's fine knock (10) inc 2 bounderies,we managed to get to the last 2 overs needing 18 to win and with sensible batting and more extras the game went down to the last ball which we managed to scramble a single.
The delight of the boys at the end was great to see and they all deserve real praise in coming up trumps in those conditions against a good side.
