Match report At last an evening fit for playing cricket.
Having won the toss we elected to bat first, believing we are better at chasing a target.
Community started well and looked to be laying the foundations for a reasonable score. But with patience and some tight bowling with superb bowling from Sayeed Shahid 2 for 9 and Matt Benfield 1 for 6 ably supported by all of their team mates Community were restricted to 82. The greatest satisfaction came from AN EXCELLENT FIELDING PERFORMANCE!! I can only recall 2 errors.
The reply from P&S was emphatic with a brilliant unbroken partnership between Matt and Tom Benfield of 82 with a solid 27 n.o. from Tom and a superb 53 n.o. from Matt to record a 10 wicket victory. All in all Matt's performance with bat, ball and taking a vital catch was wonderful to watch. Well done lads, keep it up. That's what teamwork does for you.
