Match report Despite losing players from the previous match, the Academy boys posted another very impressive total against a Locksheath team that became increasingly ragged as the innings progressed. Graham and Tom had to be vigilant and enjoyed some luck early on against the moving ball, but 8 runs from the first 6 overs blossomed into a partnership of 60. This was surpassed by 67 for the 4th wicket between Matt and Ashley who started to run the singles, but when Lee joined Matt for the last 10 overs, a run riot ensued with 124 being added. Matt recorded his best-ever score.
Locksheath lost the aggressive Stead early on and looked lost when McLoughlin left at 59 off 15, but Cooper hit 2 enormous sixes and looked capable of winning the game on his own until perishing to a terrific catch by Matt B.
