Match report An early hiccup saw Freddie hole out 3rd ball but Tristan and Davo calmed things down (mostly) without their usual comedy running. Tristan fluently retired but Alex just missed out being held on the back wall by a cracking grab. Umar and Lenny pushed us on before both fell for the cause. Cam only faced the one ball but cracked it for four for us to collect our 4th batting point.
Cam got us up and running 1st ball, swinging it past the advancing bat and Tristan athletically doing the rest. A solid 2nd wicket partnership got them steady but Davo tempted the skipper to give Freddie catching practice and then Freddie whipped a quick underarm in to run out their main man. Cam snaffled a square leg catch as Freddie bounced out the number 4 and Cam again got his outswinger to beat the edge, this time to castle his man. With 11 needed Lenny started his 3rd and the 11th over. Immediately a good length ball was drilled to Umar at mid-off who gratefully accepted the stinger. Played 3, still unbeaten.
