Match report Hambledon won the toss and put P&S into bat on a bouncy artificial wicket. Sam Collings-Wells(26) and Seth Jackson(30no) put on an opening partnership of 55 off 45 balls. The tempo was maintained with a good team batting performance that set a target of 139 for the hosts. Tom Lavery featuring with a quick 24 of 19 balls.

One of the least strong aspects of the team at the beginning of the season has been the team’s fielding. Not so recently. With a good total to defend, the runs were kept down and the require run rate quickly grew. Catching was spot on with none being dropped and 3 taken by Tim Mills, Ed Hands & Ben Tucker. The highlight of the game has to go to Sam Collings-Wells who bowled a great (4-0-6-19) plus a run out off his own bowling. A top drawer performance from a county batsman.

A special mention must go to both Harrison and Max Beaver for making the effort at very short notice. They played with great enthusiasm and show good potential for the future.
