Match report A strange match where in small parts we performed superbly but for the majority of the game we were very poor. It all started well with Jack oozing his way to a very classy 35 with a series of on drives and cover drives and when Harrison replaced him he raced to 20 with a series of fantastic square cuts and pulls but once he was out it was left to James to try and see the innings out but despite hitting two big sweep shots for 6 he fell with still 4 overs left. We were going to have to bowl and field well to stay in the game......unfortunately we choose to put in our poorest fielding display and not a very accurate bowling display from the majority of boys and Purbrook raced home with plenty of time to spare. Fin was our only real highlight in the field throwing himself around in an attempt to stop the many wides!
