Match report Gosport chose to bat first under grey skies on a greenish pitch. We will never know if this was the correct decision as the match was abandoned after steady rain had curtailed play and forced an early tea.
The bowling was quite impressive, the eight wickets being shared by five bowlers. Rob and Jono bowled better than last week and Chris was desperately unlucky to take just one wicket, beating the outside edge regularly. Ollie’s wicket keeping standing up to Chris was good to watch. Keiron and Ben managed a combined 10 overs taking 3 for 17 before the game was washed out. Matt held a stunning catch off Keiron.
