Purbrook didn't bat as well as they did when they lost at St James's. The top scorer only made 12, but 37 extras enabled them to make 86. The two off spinners, Ben Jackson and Ben Saunders, bowled particularly well. Patrick took a slip catch and Bradley made his first stumping.
In reply, some very cautious running meant that we were always slightly behind the clock. In the latter stages, pressure was put on the fielders and the bowlers, but we still needed 28 off the last 4 overs. When the last over began, 14 were needed, but in a brave effort, we managed 10.
