Match report Batting first we were put under pressure by a decent Portsmouth attack. Tristan retired but once we had lost his opening partner Joel we never really got in the ascendancy. We closed our 12 overs 4 down with 86 to defend.
Their openers were intent on getting to their target quickly and ran exceptionally well. Helped by a generous extra count they romped home with 5 and a half overs to spare.
Portsmouth are a very good side but with a little more belief in ourselves we can certainly compete better than we did tonight.
One game left, let's go out on a high.
